Researcher Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
General Research & Safety
Strictly no. Every product in the Peptician catalog is a laboratory reagent intended exclusively for in-vitro (test tube/cell culture) and scientific research purposes. These substances are not medicines, supplements, or food products. Any implication of human use will result in the immediate cancellation of your order and a permanent ban from our platform.
No. Because these products are not medicines and are sold strictly for laboratory research, they do not require a medical prescription. However, we do require that all purchasers are over the age of 18 and are conducting legitimate scientific investigation.

Storage & Logistics
Long-term: Lyophilized (powder) peptides should be stored in a freezer at -20°C to prevent degradation.
Short-term: If the research protocol requires frequent access, storage at 4°C (refrigerated) is acceptable for up to 4 weeks.
Post-Reconstitution: Once dissolved in a liquid medium, peptides are significantly more fragile and must be stored at 4°C.
Peptide volume is not always visible to the naked eye. Some peptides form a “cake” (a solid mass), while others appear as a fine dust or even a film at the bottom of the vial. Our vials are filled using precision weight-based equipment to ensure the exact milligram count specified, regardless of the visual appearance of the lyophilized powder.
Quality & Purity
Every batch we supply is tested via High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Mass Spectrometry (MS). You can view or download the Batch-Specific Certificate of Analysis (CoA) directly on the product page or by contacting our technical support team with your lot number.
This indicates that the main peak in the HPLC chromatogram accounts for at least 99% of the total area under the peaks. In a laboratory setting, high purity is essential to ensure that research outcomes are not skewed by unidentified impurities or chemical by-products.
Orders & Compliance
We currently offer tracked shipping within the United Kingdom and Worldwide. All shipments comply with UK REACH and CLP shipping regulations for chemical reagents.
Peptician reserves the right to cancel any order if we suspect the customer is not a researcher or intends to use the products for human consumption. Common reasons include asking questions about “dosage,” “side effects,” or “human results.” We take our regulatory obligations with the MHRA and UK law very seriously.
