Welcome to Peptician.co.uk. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of any products from Peptician (“the Company”). By placing an order, you unequivocally agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Research-Only Purpose (The “Fundamental Agreement”)
1.1. All products sold by Peptician are strictly for in-vitro laboratory research and analytical purposes only. 1.2. The products are not medicines, drugs, food additives, medical devices, or cosmetic products. 1.3. Under no circumstances shall these products be used for human or animal consumption, nor shall they be used for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. 1.4. You (the “Customer”) warrant that you are a qualified researcher or a representative of a legitimate research institution, and that you have the necessary facilities and safety protocols to handle these substances.
2. Customer Representations & Warranties
By placing an order, the Customer represents and warrants that:
- They are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
- They are fully aware of the potential hazards associated with the handling of research peptides.
- They will not re-sell, distribute, or promote these products for human use or any purpose that violates the UK Medicines Act 1968 or the Human Medicines Regulations 2012.
- They will comply with all local and national laws regarding the possession and use of these materials.
3. Refusal of Service
3.1. Peptician reserves the right to cancel any order if we suspect the products are intended for personal use or misuse. 3.2. Evidence of misuse—including but not limited to references to “dosage,” “cycles,” “human side effects,” or “administration”—in correspondence will result in an immediate permanent ban and order cancellation.
4. Product Information & Purity
4.1. Peptician provides Batch-Specific Certificates of Analysis (COA) to confirm identity and purity. 4.2. While we strive for 99% purity, these products are chemical reagents. Variations are possible. The Customer is responsible for verifying the suitability of the product for their specific research protocol.
5. Limitation of Liability
5.1. Peptician, its directors, and employees shall not be held liable for any damages (incidental, consequential, or otherwise) resulting from the handling, storage, or use of the products sold. 5.2. The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold Peptician harmless from any claims, expenses, or losses arising from the Customer’s breach of these terms or any negligence in the handling of the products.
6. Shipping & UK Compliance
6.1. All products are shipped in accordance with UK REACH and CLP regulations. 6.2. Peptician is not responsible for delays caused by third-party couriers or for the degradation of products if the Customer fails to store them according to the provided Safety Data Sheets (SDS) upon arrival.
7. Returns & Refunds
7.1. Due to the sensitive nature of laboratory reagents and the risk of contamination, we cannot accept returns for opened or tampered products. 7.2. Refunds for damaged goods will only be considered if reported within 48 hours of delivery, accompanied by photographic evidence.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
